Mapping Nottingham's Sacred Spaces: Adults

Mapping Nottingham's Sacred Spaces (adults), is the first study we conducted that explores sacredness as part of Nottingham's identity. It explored the theme of sacredness and how it may be related to faith or it may be related to things and places that hold deep personal meaning and importance to someone.

This first project was completed with 327 adult participants who were asked what sacred spaces mean to them and what they associate with them. This study then proceeds to focus on St Barnabas to identify how many people in Nottingham consider it their sacred space.

This study was funded by the Heritage Fund 2018.
