2021

2021 was focused on developing the research previously done in the Carrington and Sneinton area, with a focus on community areas such as green spaces and streets. This includes the creation of an exhibition and a research report.

Mapping Access to

Green Spaces

This study emerged from the context of Covid-19 and the lack of access to green spaces for certain communities in Nottingham. The main focus of the study was Sneinton, a neighbourhood in Nottingham which, despite its location being surrounded by blue and green landscapes, access has been neglected. We used group ethnography and interviews to explore and assess access to green spaces from Sneinton and its impact on the well-being of the participants.
